About Us
We are an independent, family run optician owned by Liz and Ghaf Uddin. We have each been qualified optometrists for 10 years. Ghaf began his career in the Eye Department in Eastbourne Hospital where he quickly moved to the position of Principal Optometrist running the Optometry Department. This is where he acquired specialised skills in dry eyes. Later he lectured Clinical and Paediatric Optometry at City University London and Anglia University, Cambridge. It was while working for numerous high street practices that he quickly became disillusioned with the level of patient care given, from booking the appointment, to the actual sight test, to the collection of spectacles...
